Reve is a text-to-image generator from Palo Alto startup Reve AI, built around a model that emphasises faithful prompt adherence and readable typography, two areas where earlier models often struggled. It renders natively at 4K, sixteen megapixels, with no separate upscaling step, and lets you refine results by describing an edit in plain language, changing colours, text or perspective rather than re-rolling the whole prompt. Access runs through a web app and a developer API that can generate, edit and remix images. Reve grants full commercial rights to the output on every plan, including the free tier. An image made in Reve can also be animated in the same app, using Veo 3.1 for the video step; that part is limited to users in the United States and Canada, and clips with sound draw twice as fast on the video allowance.

Best for designers and marketers who need images that follow a detailed brief and carry accurate text.

Reach for Reve when the brief is precise or the artwork has to carry correct text, and you would rather steer a result by describing the change than by rewriting the prompt from scratch. Licensing is not a thing you have to weigh here, which makes it unusually easy to try on real client work before committing budget. It is a newer entrant, though, so expect a lighter surrounding ecosystem of plugins, presets and community models than the long-established suites offer, and check whether the video side reaches your region before you count on it.
