How We Compare
Cataleo compares software against a fixed set of factual criteria. Every tool in a category is measured against the same list, in the same order. We record what a tool does, for example whether it offers time tracking, invoicing, or an API. We do not rate vendors as good or bad; we show the differences and leave the decision to you.
Where the Data Comes From
The information comes from sources the vendors publish themselves, such as their websites, pricing pages, and documentation. Where a vendor does not state something, the table says so rather than guessing. If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it.
How We Make Money
Some links are affiliate links. If you buy through one, Cataleo may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not affect which criteria we compare or what the table reports.
What "Sponsored" Means
Tools marked Sponsored are paid placements: the vendor pays to appear first in a category listing. The label is always shown, and paid placement never changes the criteria a tool is measured against or the values recorded for it.
Logos and Screenshots
Company names, logos and screenshots belong to their respective owners. They are shown here to identify the products being compared, which is what trademark law allows, and their use implies no endorsement of Cataleo by the vendor. Every file is hosted by us rather than loaded from the vendor, so visiting a page sends nothing to them. If you own a mark and want its use here changed, write to us and we will act on it.
