Category banners

Pick the categories you want to appear in and show a banner to buyers browsing them. You will set a budget, choose what a click is worth, and pause anytime. When the budget runs out, the banner simply stops. If nobody books a category, it shows no banner at all.

Several advertisers in one category rotate evenly, so a category never feels sold to the highest bidder.

A labeled, highlighted slot inside a category, shown among the tools that already fit it. It catches the eye and breaks ties between comparable options. It never reorders the ranking underneath, and it always carries a "Sponsored" label.

A live rating badge for your own site.

Once ratings are in, you will be able to show your Cataleo score where your buyers already are, on your homepage, your pricing page, your footer. The badge will pull the live score, so it stays current without you touching it, and link back to your full profile.

It will be one line of code, in a light or a dark style to match your site. The live rating is the one part of a listing we intend to charge a small fee for; everything else stays free.

Find your tool, use "Is this your product?" on its page, and open the link we email you. That link is the proof, there is no account to create.

Correct

Send the facts that are wrong or missing, with your logo, screenshots or a video. We check them and update the entry.

Stay free

Your entry costs nothing and keeps costing nothing. Advertising is not open yet; when it is, it is a separate decision.

Is listing really free?

Yes. Claiming your listing, correcting the facts, adding media, and keeping it current costs nothing. That's the base everyone gets.

Can I pay to rank higher?

No, and that's deliberate. The organic order comes from fit and real reviews. Spending buys you a labeled banner or featured slot next to the rankings, never a better place inside them.

How are ads labeled?

You upload the banner with a small reserved corner. We place the "Ad" label there automatically, in the reader’s language. The disclosure is always present because we add it, not you.

How will category-banner billing work?

You will set a budget and what a click is worth. Each valid click draws it down; at zero, the banner stops. Invalid clicks are filtered out, so you only pay for real interest. None of it is bookable yet.

Use "Get listed" at the top of this page and send us the details. Once the entry is in, you can claim it from its own page.

What am I agreeing to when I send a request?

That a listing is free and editorial, that we research and write the entry ourselves rather than publish your copy, and that material you send us may be shown and resized on Cataleo for as long as the entry exists. The whole text is short and worth the two minutes: Listing Policy
