Teamdeck is a cloud-based resource management tool for creative and technical teams, built around a shared team calendar that shows who is booked, who is free and where capacity is about to run short. Around that scheduling core it adds time tracking with timesheets, leave and absence management, and customisable reports on utilisation and project performance, reachable from a mobile app as well as the browser. Seats come in two kinds: full members work in the app, while light members are scheduled, tracked and reported on without logging in themselves. It targets organisations of up to 1000 employees, from agencies and software houses to product and operations teams.

Chosen for its price and its narrow focus rather than its depth. A team still planning bookings in a spreadsheet gets a real calendar, timesheets and leave in one place without an implementation project behind it. The narrowness is the catch: nothing here reaches the commercial end of a project, so billing stays in another system, and a firm that wants schedules to feed invoices should be looking at a PSA suite instead. The cheaper seat type only pays for itself where a real share of the people being planned never opens the app.
