Overview
MindManager is visual planning software from Corel for individuals, small teams and enterprises that turn brainstorms into project plans. It runs on Windows and Mac, in the browser, on iOS, Android and Chromebook, and inside Microsoft Teams. Essentials is a yearly web subscription, Professional comes as a yearly subscription or a one-time purchase, and Enterprise is quoted with IT administration on top.
Our take
Pick MindManager when a map is the start of a project plan that has to live alongside Office documents and SharePoint, and when IT expects to manage licences for a whole department. If you only brainstorm and want a lighter app, Xmind or MindMeister is the closer fit, and for open-ended workshops on a shared canvas a whiteboard such as Miro suits better.
