Overview
Qodo, formerly CodiumAI, is an AI code review and governance platform for engineering teams. A Context Engine indexes each connected repository and a Review Engine uses that standing picture to judge a change against the whole system instead of the diff alone, including cross-repository analysis that surfaces breaking changes before a merge. Its Rule Miner reads past pull requests to work out the standards a team already applies and turns them into rules every later review enforces. Qodo has deliberately deprecated its code generation features and now covers review only.
Our take
Qodo is built for teams where AI already writes much of the code and the bottleneck has moved to reviewing it, so what it sells is consistency across hundreds of pull requests rather than help typing the next line. Anyone shopping for a coding assistant should look elsewhere: the generative side was retired on purpose, not left to rot. Budgeting takes a little homework, because the bill follows review activity rather than headcount, so model a normal month of your own pull requests before committing. Where it stands apart is in regulated engineering organisations, since very few review tools of this kind can be installed behind the firewall at all.

How we check reviews
Reviews are not published yet. The form on a tool's page works and reaches us, but nothing from it appears on this site, so no score here is based on a review. The rules below are the ones that will apply once reviews go live.
Every review is read by a person before it appears. We require a working email address and use it to come back to the author, so a review has a reachable sender rather than being anonymous. We publish positive and negative reviews alike, we pay nothing and offer nothing for a review, and we accept none that was bought or incentivised.
What we cannot do is verify a purchase. There is no shop here and no account, so whether the author really used the tool rests on what they tell us, plus the plausibility of what they write. We say so rather than implying a check that does not exist.
A vendor cannot have a review removed, cannot buy one, and cannot have one changed. Paid placement and a paid listing have no effect on which reviews appear or on any score.
