Overview
Switcher Studio is a live streaming app that turns the iPhones, iPads and Macs a team already owns into a multicamera production, with no dedicated hardware. It is aimed at churches, sports teams, small businesses and creators who stream regularly. It is sold as a Studio or Suite subscription, billed monthly or annually, with a 14-day free trial and a one-time 7-day pass for a single event. Suite adds video hosting and monetization such as ticketed events and subscriptions.
Our take
Pick Switcher Studio if your cameras are phones and tablets and you want to switch between them from an iPad without buying production hardware. If you stream from a desktop PC with capture cards, Wirecast or vMix suit that setup better instead, and if all you need is a talk show with guests in a browser, StreamYard costs less.

- One microphone input at a time on the main switcher: the built-in mic, or an external mic, mixer or interface over USB-C or Lightning (stereo or mono) or the headphone jack (mono), alongside audio from remote guests and inserted clips. Several mics at once need an external mixer, and remote cameras cannot be the audio source. Mic mute, a 6 or 12 dB input boost and a Voice Mode with echo cancellation

- Yes, local and cloud recordings, a recording-only mode, and Director Mode to record and export every camera angle for editing
- Desktop or browser

How we check reviews
Reviews are not published yet. The form on a tool's page works and reaches us, but nothing from it appears on this site, so no score here is based on a review. The rules below are the ones that will apply once reviews go live.
Every review is read by a person before it appears. We require a working email address and use it to come back to the author, so a review has a reachable sender rather than being anonymous. We publish positive and negative reviews alike, we pay nothing and offer nothing for a review, and we accept none that was bought or incentivised.
What we cannot do is verify a purchase. There is no shop here and no account, so whether the author really used the tool rests on what they tell us, plus the plausibility of what they write. We say so rather than implying a check that does not exist.
A vendor cannot have a review removed, cannot buy one, and cannot have one changed. Paid placement and a paid listing have no effect on which reviews appear or on any score.
