Overview

TickTick is a task manager that puts tasks, a calendar, a Pomodoro focus timer, a habit tracker, an Eisenhower Matrix and countdowns into one app on the web, desktop, mobile and as a browser extension. Tasks are captured with natural-language dates or voice input, and carry tags, subtasks, checklists, recurrence and several kinds of reminder. Lists display as a list, a Kanban board or a calendar, and Premium adds a Timeline view that lays tasks out by duration. A free plan allows 9 lists of 99 tasks each.

Our take

TickTick is the pick for one person, or a household or a handful of colleagues, who want their day, their focus sessions and their habits in the same place rather than in three apps. The Premium price is low enough that the real question is not cost but scale: sharing and assignment exist, yet there is no workload view, no timesheet and no project reporting, so a team that has to plan capacity or bill hours will outgrow it quickly. Its strongest argument over lighter to-do apps is that it already speaks to AI assistants through an official connector, which makes it a practical backend for someone who wants to manage tasks from a chat window.

How we check reviews

Reviews are not published yet. The form on a tool's page works and reaches us, but nothing from it appears on this site, so no score here is based on a review. The rules below are the ones that will apply once reviews go live.

Every review is read by a person before it appears. We require a working email address and use it to come back to the author, so a review has a reachable sender rather than being anonymous. We publish positive and negative reviews alike, we pay nothing and offer nothing for a review, and we accept none that was bought or incentivised.

What we cannot do is verify a purchase. There is no shop here and no account, so whether the author really used the tool rests on what they tell us, plus the plausibility of what they write. We say so rather than implying a check that does not exist.

A vendor cannot have a review removed, cannot buy one, and cannot have one changed. Paid placement and a paid listing have no effect on which reviews appear or on any score.

The overall score is the average of the six ratings above. Nothing is weighted, and a paid placement does not change a single one of them.
