BILL, formerly Bill.com, is financial automation software for small and mid-sized businesses built around accounts payable, accounts receivable and spend management. On the payables side it captures bills, routes them through approval workflows and pays vendors; on the receivables side it creates and sends invoices, tracks payments and sends automated reminders, and collects payment online. BILL is not a general ledger of its own: bills, invoices and payments sync two-way with the accounting platform a business already uses. Its separate Spend & Expense product adds corporate cards, budgets, expense tracking and reimbursements. The BILL v3 REST API, with webhooks for real-time events, is available on the higher plans for teams that want to build their own integrations. Accounts payable and receivable are sold in four plans, Essentials, Team, Corporate and Enterprise, priced per user, while Spend & Expense is free to use.
