Overview
Payhawk is a spend management platform that puts corporate cards, expenses, business travel, accounts payable and procurement on one system, sold as four modules a company can take singly or together. It issues Visa debit and credit cards with controls and real-time limits, and automates receipt chasing, approval routing and policy enforcement around them. Travel booking sits inside the same policy, so trips are approved and reconciled without a separate tool. Payhawk keeps no ledger: it syncs two ways with accounting and ERP systems, with export templates for the rest.
Our take
Payhawk aims squarely at the finance team that has outgrown a single-purpose card tool and wants travel and procurement under the same policy engine, which is a larger commitment than most of this category asks for. The modular sale is the thing to understand before anything else: taking one module is possible, but the platform only earns its keep when several are running, and every price beyond the small fixed Growth Program comes from a quote. The depth of the ERP connector list is the strongest argument here, particularly the native two-way syncs and the DATEV push, because that is where a spend tool either saves the month end or quietly adds to it. Smaller teams should check the Growth Program limits first, since ten cards and ten seats is a real ceiling rather than a starting point.

How we check reviews
Reviews are not published yet. The form on a tool's page works and reaches us, but nothing from it appears on this site, so no score here is based on a review. The rules below are the ones that will apply once reviews go live.
Every review is read by a person before it appears. We require a working email address and use it to come back to the author, so a review has a reachable sender rather than being anonymous. We publish positive and negative reviews alike, we pay nothing and offer nothing for a review, and we accept none that was bought or incentivised.
What we cannot do is verify a purchase. There is no shop here and no account, so whether the author really used the tool rests on what they tell us, plus the plausibility of what they write. We say so rather than implying a check that does not exist.
A vendor cannot have a review removed, cannot buy one, and cannot have one changed. Paid placement and a paid listing have no effect on which reviews appear or on any score.
