Overview
awork is a cloud project management platform aimed at agencies and other service teams, bringing project planning, capacity planning, time tracking and reporting into one workspace. Projects run as lists, kanban boards or a timeline, capacity planning schedules people against their real availability, and tracked time feeds project budgets calculated from the hourly rates in the system. Projects carry a billable or internal flag that every time entry inherits, so billability reporting follows from tracking rather than from extra bookkeeping. Invoicing happens elsewhere, in a connected accounting tool.
Our take
awork suits agencies that want scheduling, tracked hours and budget figures to be one set of numbers instead of three that have to be reconciled. What tends to decide it in practice is adoption rather than any single feature: a billability report is only as honest as the hours behind it, and hours get entered when entering them is quick. That focus stops at the back office, so a firm that wants the whole quote-to-invoice chain in one place will keep a second system running alongside. It also assumes work arrives as client projects with a rate attached, which makes long-horizon planning across a large organisation a poor fit; that is a different shape of problem and awork does not try to solve it.

How we check reviews
Reviews are not published yet. The form on a tool's page works and reaches us, but nothing from it appears on this site, so no score here is based on a review. The rules below are the ones that will apply once reviews go live.
Every review is read by a person before it appears. We require a working email address and use it to come back to the author, so a review has a reachable sender rather than being anonymous. We publish positive and negative reviews alike, we pay nothing and offer nothing for a review, and we accept none that was bought or incentivised.
What we cannot do is verify a purchase. There is no shop here and no account, so whether the author really used the tool rests on what they tell us, plus the plausibility of what they write. We say so rather than implying a check that does not exist.
A vendor cannot have a review removed, cannot buy one, and cannot have one changed. Paid placement and a paid listing have no effect on which reviews appear or on any score.
